Having been to Taipei for a few days.  The price of wine in Taiwan is really much higher than Hong Kong!  I think I should pick some cheaper wine than to spend unnecessary.

Louis Jadot never leaves me with a good impression.  From the several bottles at village levels I drank before, I was disappointed.  They all lack necessary complexity and really too simple.  Since 2009 is a really good vintage in Burgundy and quality is consistent from the lowest appellation up to grand cru vineyard.  I really hope this bottle of 2009 Louis Jadot Cote de Beaune Villages won’t be too bad.

This bottle has a very intense nose.  However, the nose is not attractive.  Actually, I find it a bit offensive!  Lacking sufficient fruit intensity but with strong tannic and bitter nose, I think this wine maybe a over-extracted.  The same unbalance problem happens in palate.  Louis Jadot really disappointed me again.  I really lose my confident on Louis Jadot village appellation wines.
